Alhamdullilah, I have ultimately ACHIEVED MY RIGHTS! The PAF ads regarding the induction of girls in both the GD(P) and CAE branches got printed in Dawn on 31st March 2002.
I want to THANK the President General Pervez Mushraf who listened to my plea and the Sindh Education Minister, Prof Anita Ghulam Ali who contacted the President on my behalf.
Besides, I wam thankful to the ACM Mushaf Ali Mir, the Minister for women development, Dr. Attiya Inayatullah, NGORC, IOPWE, PAWLA, DAWN, NATION, NEWS and lots of other NGOs and ppl who supported me in my endeavours.

Im very passionate about Pakistan Air Force and want to join it as a fighter pilot BUT if couldn't then as an aeronautical engineer.
I collect P.A.F. articles form Dawn...and i play piano, guitar......my favourite band is JUNOON....and movie TOP GUN. |
MY PASSION 4 P.A.F.
I have always been fascinated by the aircraft and thus flying. Furhter more, I was getting patriotic day by day. But, it was in 9th grade that I realized that I am passionate about Pakistan Air Force and so wanted to be a fighter pilot.
Though, I knew that PAF does not induct girls in the flying branch but I had become too much involved in my passion that I ultimately decided that I would struggle for my rights-right to be a fighter pilot in PAF..and so I initiated this process in my own way.

PAF IS MY DESTINY
I would also like to make this clear that my passion is NOT only for flying...I have a passion to be amongst the sky defenders of PAKISTAN and that would only be accomplished if I become a fighter pilot....and so this is the reason why I dont want to opt for commercial flying...I want to serve PAF...IF not a fighter pilot then I would like to be an Aeronautical Engineer in PAF, InshaAllah.
